Do you know what the definition of insanity is? It is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Yet day after day people are doing this at the gym. They follow the same routine with the same amount of weights. If you want the easiest way to get six pack abs you must do something different. Follow these guidelines and you will be amazed on how easy it can be for you to get six pack abs.
Do high intense cardio training instead of the long and slow. I know that you are out of the fat burning zone when you are doing this, but would you rather be in the fat burning zone for 1 hour or 12 hours. I personally would like to be in the fat burning zone for 12. After a slow 1 hour cardiovascular training session your metabolism will immediately drop back to normal. When doing high intense intervals your body will use energy to rebuild and replenish the working muscles. This is what keeps you in the fat burning zone for up to 12 hours.
Do full body compound exercises. These are exercise that involves movements across two joints. Some of these may include dead lifts, bench press, military press, squats and lunges. These are demanding exercises and your body will have to expend lots of calories to replenish and repair these muscles after working out. These exercises also create a muscle building hormone. The more lean muscle you have the higher your metabolism.
Make sure that you are on a proper diet and avoid consuming too little calories. You will be working hard and your body needs to refuel. What you are looking for is a diet in which you consume 500 calories less than what it would take to maintain your weight taking in account what you expend with your workouts per day. You are also looking to vary the amount of calories that you eat each day. If you continuously eat fewer calories your body will try to adjust and actually lower your metabolism. If you change the daily amount of calories while keeping an overall calorie deficient diet, you will maintain if not increase your metabolism while losing fat.
Use weights when exercising your abs. Every other body part you train you tend to use weight and perform 10 to 12 reps to gain muscle size. Why would the abs be any different? Figure out a way to completely fatigue your abs in 12 to 15 repetitions and stop doing 100 crunches a day. This will promote a more ripped looking abs.
